Invitation Psalm 145:13

"Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does."

Bible Song Psalm 30:1, 6-12

I will exalt you, Lord,
for you lifted me out of the depths
and did not let my enemies gloat over me...

When I felt secure, I said,
"I will never be shaken."

Lord, when you favored me,
you made my royal mountain stand firm;

but when you hid your face,
I was dismayed.

To you, Lord, I called;
to the Lord I cried for mercy:

"What is gained if I am silenced,
if I go down to the pit?

Will the dust praise you?
Will it proclaim your faithfulness?

Hear, Lord, and be merciful to me;
Lord, be my help."

You turned my wailing into dancing;
you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,

that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent.
Lord my God, I will praise you forever.

Bible Reading Genesis 12:1-4

The Lord had said to Abram, "Go from your country, your people and your father's household to the land I will show you.

"I will make you into a great nation,
and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
will be blessed through you."

So Abram went, as the Lord had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Harran.

Good God, you didn't turn your back on a world plunged up to its neck in physical and spiritual death but set out to rescue it. I worship you for your resolute goodness and wisdom that sought and found me; I thank you for the blessing that has come to me in Jesus, and pray that my life may be a blessing to others. Amen.

Blessing Psalm 130:5
